When it comes to the environment, we focus on sustainable energy: our photovoltaic system with 100 kWp and the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles are our approaches to using renewable energy and promoting electromobility. We also use 100% electricity from renewable sources to minimize our ecological footprint.

How can a partnership with AKTUELL increase manufacturers sales?

As a long-standing and experienced partner of the German food trade, new producers and their products can be integrated into AKTUELL’s existing distribution infrastructure. Both the stationary and digital sales channels can be served.

Up to date and fast – this underlines our motivation to meet the challenges on the industrial and commercial side. Short distances and quick decisions in an agile, owner-managed company. Our own temperature-controlled warehouse with 6,000 square meters and over 3,500 Euro pallet spaces with low overhead costs. Our many years of experience and specialization in Italian confectionery and baked goods as well as selected international brands set us apart from other distributors. We attach great importance to quality, sustainability and maintaining long-term partnerships in order to grow together.

As an IFS-certified company, the quality and safety of the products we sell are our top priority. This begins with the selection of producers. AKTUELL works exclusively with quality-oriented and highly efficient production companies.

Our customers include all well-known companies in the German food retail sector. Our products can be found in supermarkets, wholesalers and drugstores as well as on numerous digital marketplaces such as Amazon.de & Metro.de. Our own online store “yourfood24.de” rounds off the wide range of sales channels where our products can be found.

Many years of experience in the  snack and pastry sector, numerous close contacts with decision-makers in the trade and an existing infrastructure guarantee competent and promising support for the market entry of new companies and products.

AKTUELL has its own purchasing, sales and quality department, a finance and accounting department and a warehousing and order picking department, which can provide additional support for the market entry of new partners.

Cooperation with leading market research companies is also possible in order to develop more targeted strategies for the German market.

Cooperation with industry-specific advertising agencies and leading suppliers in the packaging industry for marketing support tools is an essential part of this support. However, the opportunity to participate and exhibit products at trade fairs organized by our retail partners and the International Sweets and Biscuits Fair (ISM) is also an important part of this.

The time to market can vary depending on the product category and market conditions. If it is a finished product, the market launch can take place in a few weeks. However, the joint development of a retailer’s own brand can also take 6-10 months.
